Fiskur

Fiskur is a tableware set designed within the context of a restaurant setting to represent Iceland and its culture. The diner’s place setting includes a fish platter, a bone plate, a deboning knife, and a dessert tray with a crème brûlée bowl and spoon. The design for the bone platter skirting the edge of the main fish platter allows the server or diner to easily remove the bones from their fish entree. I sought to utilize a natural, straightforward design in order to stay true to Iceland’s well known rustic, yet simple aesthetics.
